The Art Of Persuasion Is A Powerful Tool
And Why You Need To Learn How To Use It In Your Business
Whenever somebody makes a decision, they are trying to achieve one of two things. They are either trying to gain pleasure, or avoid pain.
This holds true in buying decisions as well. The decision (of a customer) on whether to buy, or not, is based on pleasure attainment, or pain avoidance at its most basic form.
You could argue that the features of your product have a lot to do with that decision but not as much as you would think. There is a saying in marketing, “features tell, benefits sell”. Benefits can be reduced to the two motivating factors mentioned previously; pleasure attainment, and pain avoidance.
If you could master a skill that enabled you to persuade your buyers that what you have to offer will satisfy one, or both of these basic needs, just by buying what you have to offer, do you think that would help your business thrive?
Not only that…
Imagine being in possession of knowledge so powerful that you could almost guarantee convincing someone to take whatever action you desired them to (within reason of course). How powerful would that make you at negotiating for example?
I am sure that possessing such a skill as that described above would make you a very valuable addition to any business, whether that is your own, or working for someone else.
On the surface this might sound somewhat mystical in nature but there are very well researched and documented psychological principles at work here.
